# What You Need:

01 - 16 cocktail rye bread squares
02 - 16 multigrain cracker rectangles
03 - 16 breadstick segments (approximately 5 cm each)

04 - 120 g aged cheddar, sliced
05 - 120 g herbed cream cheese
06 - 120 g gouda, sliced

→ Vegetables & Garnishes

07 - 1 cucumber, thinly sliced into rectangles
08 - 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
09 - 8 cherry tomatoes, halved
10 - 2 avocados, sliced
11 - 1 small bunch chives, cut into 5 cm lengths

→ Extras

12 - 16 pitted green olives
13 - 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
14 - 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
15 - Sea salt, to taste
16 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Arrange a large serving platter or wooden board as the base for the arrangement.
02 - Place cocktail rye bread squares and multigrain crackers in clustered groups to mimic city blocks.
03 - Stack sliced aged cheddar and gouda on select bread and crackers to build layered structures.
04 - Use herbed cream cheese as an adhesive to secure cucumber, bell pepper, and avocado slices between cheese layers or atop stacks for added height and colour.
05 - Insert breadstick segments vertically into some stacks to enhance vertical dimension and visual interest.
06 - Decorate with halved cherry tomatoes, pitted olives, and chive lengths to resemble an urban skyline.
07 - Lightly drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the assembled platter, then sprinkle with black sesame seeds, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately.
