02 - 2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
04 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Wet Ingredients

05 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
07 - 2 large eggs, room temperature
08 - 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

→ Add-ins

09 - 3/4 cup shelled unsalted pistachios, roughly chopped

→ Decoration (Optional)

10 - 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
11 - Festive sprinkles or edible glitter
12 - Mini pretzel sticks (for tree trunks)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
02 - Whisk together flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
03 - In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully incorporated.
04 - Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Stir in chopped pistachios.
05 - Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan. Bake for 23 to 25 minutes, until the center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
06 - Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
07 - Lift blondies using the parchment overhang and cut into triangles resembling Christmas trees.
08 - Melt white chocolate and drizzle over each triangle. Add sprinkles and insert a mini pretzel stick at the base to mimic tree trunks.
09 - Allow decorations to set before serving.
